WHO I Am
Growing up a penguin in Southern Ontario, Canton began writing, and selling his short satirical stories about local beaver populations in order to help support his late family of blind acrobatic skydivers with bad timing.
Immigrating to Toronto during the Great Humanitarian Airlift of 1911, Canton made a living in his adopted homeland by creating chewy Rice Crispy figures of famous public figures, and selling them on the street corner.
Canton made his writing debut in 2024 with the novel, Eternity’s Shadow, an effort one critic enthusiastically hailed as, “a book.” Eternity’s Shadow was Book I of the Shadow Trilogy. Book II, Pandora’s Shadow is both a continuation of, and prelude to Book I.
Calling Toronto his home, he lives there with his son, Noah.
Canton makes his living as a photographer, graphic designer, and video creator. He has recently published his debut novel, Eternity’s Shadow.
